this is the new lazarette hatch I buit, it was missing when I bought the boat., it's been covered with a piece of plywood since then.

Skill saw converted to a table saw and hand drill drill press, some cuts are much safer and more accurate with a table saw.

Mystery tree solved, Yesterday while at the fleamarket I was talking to the lady that grows and sells plants, she gave me my everglades tomato plant. She took me over to a mexican gal selling some plants that had a plant that we thought might be the same one. It turns out after google searching, I found out her plant only grows 6 feet tall and has some other things that make it not a match.

She told me it was chia, but it was hard to understand her spanish speaking, after looking up chia I figured she meant chaya. This led to cassava as a guess and then to the Euphorbiaceae (spurge) family, which after an hour of, Nope not this one searching, somehow led me to jatropha curcas. jatropha curcas

His mom planted it, there are many exotic plants 100 yards across the river at a house that was a friend of Thomas Edison's.
