Mystery tree solved, Yesterday while at the fleamarket I was talking to the lady that grows and sells plants, she gave me my everglades tomato plant. She took me over to a mexican gal selling some plants that had a plant that we thought might be the same one. It turns out after google searching, I found out her plant only grows 6 feet tall and has some other things that make it not a match. |
She told me it was chia, but it was hard to understand her spanish speaking, after looking up chia I figured she meant chaya. This led to cassava as a guess and then to the Euphorbiaceae (spurge) family, which after an hour of, Nope not this one searching, somehow led me to jatropha curcas. jatropha curcas |
